Tortola - Fantasy Banknotes

Image
Currently I am into fantasy banknotes; especially ones with a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them (it would be neat to see some with Lady Di on them but have not found them, yet). I found these on eBay with the search words ' fantasy banknotes ' (some of them were kind of 'revealing').  This one is Tortola . I thought it was made up but it seems it does exist. I don't know if they have their own banknotes but it would be cool if they looked like these. I think these look and feel like current European banknotes. I think they are really well done. I think these are really well done. One can see a really nice picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. It is one of the reasons I got them. The other is that it was reasonably priced; i.e.., I could afford them. I believe this is the front of the banknotes. Here are the back of the banknotes. I think it looks really nice. I think it is very well done.  There are other sites that sell fantasy banknotes. I have a

I have come across some fantasy banknotes on eBay . I used the search words ' fantasy banknotes ' and come across quite a few. The ones I like are the ones with a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them.  I think they are cool looking and are well done. They seems to feel like the current banknotes from Europe.  These are Redonda Island ones. At first I thought it was a made up place but it does exist. I don't know if they have their own money or not but it would be cool if it looked like these.  As one can see, there is a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. I think it is a nice picture. It is one of the reasons I bought them. I believe this is the front of the banknote. Here is the back of them. I try to get two sets of them but I only got one of these. I think it was reasonably priced; especially for the quality of what one got.  I have a list of sites that sell fantasy banknotes. It is in my blog about Aldabra Islands.

Barbuda - Fantasy Banknotes

I think that I might have gotten carried away; especially on fantasy banknotes that have a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. I have found some like this on eBay .  One of these are the Barbuda fantasy banknotes. I think they are really cool looking and look so real; like European ones that they have now. I thought it was a place that didn't exist but it seems that it does; Barbuda . I do not know if they have their own money but it would be cool if it looked like this.  I think it looks really neat. I like how it has a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. It is one of the reasons I got them. I think this is the front of them.  I believe this is the bank of them. It feels like the current banknotes from Europe.  I got them from eBay using the search words ' fantasy banknotes '. There was a lot of fantasy banknotes there (some were rather revealing).  There are websites that carry fantasy banknotes. I have some of them listed in my post about Aldabra Islan

Aruba - Fantasy Banknotes

Here are some more fantasy banknotes that I found on eBay . I think it was reasonably priced and look really well done. I thought it was a made up place but it does exist. It is Aruba . I don't know if they have their own money but it would be cool if the 'adopt' this fantasy banknote as their own; perhaps as a souvenir money?  Here is the front of the banknotes. One can see a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. It is the reason I got these.  Here are the back of the banknotes. I think they are really well done. It feels like European banknotes.  I got this as a result of a search on eBay using ' fantasy banknotes '. I think I got it for a good price. It is a great part of my 'fantasy island' banknote collection. There are other sites that sell fantasy banknotes. Please see my previous post on Aldabra Islands - Fantasy Banknotes.

Aldabra Islands - Fantasy Banknotes

I have found some 'fantasy banknotes' on the internet; some of which is on eBay . The ones that are picture below are the ones I bought at eBay at a good price.    I think they are way cool and very well done. This is one of them. It is from the Aldabra Islands. I think they are very well made. They feel like European banknotes but they are 'fantasy' ones' - for a country - IIRC - that does not exist but made for fun. It does seem that the islands do exist; Aldabra Islands .  It is the two sets of the same banknotes. The first one is the front and the second one is the backs.  These two are the same as the first two but came separately. I think they are really neat. One of the reasons I got them is because they feature Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. I think this makes them really cool. I got them from a seller on eBay . I did a search using ' fantasy banknotes ' and it was one of the results. There was a great number of fantasy banknotes there.

B.R.I.C.S. ? Future Currency Logo of the B.R.I.C.S.?

Image
There is a group called B.R.I.C.S. - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - that united for trade (with some other countries that have joined or want to join). This isn't a 'pro or anti' this group. It is about what their common currency logo / symbol might look like.  Actually it is a comical view of it since the groups name sounds similar to bricks; used in building things.  I thought of the toy bricks by Lego. I thought, since it sounds similar to the group initials, I would start with that. Since so many currency logos / symbols have one or two lines through them, I would have two lines through this one. One line would just look odd; in my opinion.  I have read that India might changed their name to Bharat (I might be wrong on this)? If they do change, the groups initials might be difficult to pronounce. How would you pronounce B.R.B.C.S.? It might sound like you are trying to spit on someone or sticking out your tongue at someone. I was just thinking out lou

Afro? The Future Currency Of Africa?

Image
Since Europe united under one currency and one group yet kept each countries uniqueness, I wonder if that could happen to Africa? I wonder what that currency logo / symbol would look like? I have read and view video's of some parts of Africa trying to do that; somewhat unsuccessfully but who knows what the future might hold?   Since Africans have something in common - their afro, I thought it would be part of the African currency, a large circle over the top part of the letter A.  It could be part of the word 'afro' and yet set it apart. It is a simple design.  While this is similar to my Ameros currency logo (different post), it could still be used as the African currency since it also starts with the letter A. There are countries that use similar currency logo / symbols but have different names / meanings.  This is just me thinking out loud. I like to think of designs and ideas and put them to paper and sometimes online. This is just one of those cases.

Ameros? Future Currency Of The Americas?

Image
With Europe adopting a single currency - the Euro, I wonder if that could happen in the Americas. I wondered if North America and South America united in a similar way, what would the united currency look like? I made a couple of designs.  Since most currency logos have a line or two through them, I put two lines through this one. Since both North America and South America have the second word starting with the letter A, I put that as the one that unites them both since it is what is common in both names.  This one has the shape of a star since there are stars in the US of A flag. I did this one just to see how it looks. It might be a little too complicated for a currency logo. This one is totally whimsical. I thought I used part of a symbol that was part of the US of A aircraft. It combines the two in an artistic way. I think it would be totally impractical as a currency logo. This is just me thinking out loud. It is a 'what if ' idea.
