Tea And Accessories At The Visitor Center Of The Adams National Park

 There are some nice things at the Adam National Park visitor center. Some of it is what I would or could call 'tea related'. They have a variety of teas and accessories that go well with it. I bought some tea there and plan to go back (someday) to get more of the other things they have.

Here is some of the items that they have for tea (or coffee?) drinkers. They have a nice variety. 

Here one can see the round cylinder containers of a variety of teas that one can buy. I bought the gunpowder tea. It is really good. 

One can see the different mugs that one can buy there too. They are really nice. Perhaps more of a coffee mug but can also be used for tea; in my opinion.

One can see the patriotic mugs that they have. One can drink ones tea or coffee and show that one is patriotic and support the National Parks at the same time. 


I bought some nice things. I bought some teas and a glass cup with the park name on it. The glass cup isn't visible in my photos above but it is really nice.


I think it is very informative and educational to go to this park. It is - in my opinion - a great place to visit. I look forward to visiting other National Parks.

Tortola - Fantasy Banknotes

  Currently I am into fantasy banknotes; especially ones with a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them (it would be neat to see some with Lady Di on them but have not found them, yet). I found these on eBay with the search words ' fantasy banknotes ' (some of them were kind of 'revealing').  This one is Tortola . I thought it was made up but it seems it does exist. Book On George Washington Carver By Tonya Bolden

          I found a book on the life of George Washington Carver  (Wikipedia link). It was not overly detailed but it does talk about his life and accomplishments. I think there are some really nice illustrations and photos in it.           I think it is great for those who want to learn about George Washington Carver but might not have a lot of time to read about him or just have a passing interest in him.           It was an easy read and it was also informative. It could lead someone to read more about him. I have an ebook on him that has more details about his life (subject of another post / blog).          I found it at the Thriftbooks (they have a lot of books at great prices) for a great price (not many left at the site - just click on the link). They have other books  (link on a search using his name) on him too.  Even the back of it is really nice. It has a photo of George Washington Carver.          One can also get it at Amazon  (Amazon link). They have a pretty good price

Barbuda - Fantasy Banknotes

  I think that I might have gotten carried away; especially on fantasy banknotes that have a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. I have found some like this on eBay .  One of these are the Barbuda fantasy banknotes. I think they are really cool looking and look so real; like European ones that they have now. I thought it was a place that didn't exist but it seems that it does; Barbuda . I do not know if they have their own money but it would be cool if it looked like this.  I think it looks really neat. I like how it has a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. It is one of the reasons I got them. I think this is the front of them.  I believe this is the bank of them. It feels like the current banknotes from Europe.  I got them from eBay using the search words ' fantasy banknotes '.
