Pitcairn Fantasy Banknotes - from eBay.

 


        I found some cool looking fantasy banknotes on eBay for Pitcairn. I think they are really neat looking and very well done. It feels like real money. 



       It was up for auction / sold by Banknotes Stamps Coins (they have other things for sale / up for bids - which includes the fantasy banknotes for Pitcairn) on eBay. 

        I believe Pitcairn is an island that is in a remote location. Wikipedia - Pitcairn. I don't believe they have their own money but if it did, it should look like the above (which is cool - in my opinion). 

        Pitcairn Islands on Banknote World. It seems they don't have their own currency. 

Pitcairn Islands banknotes are collectible? (interesting article - by World Banknotes Catalogue ). 

        Perhaps there was a Pitcairn Islands banknote? Here is a link to an article at Numista that shows their banknotes. 



From the Numista site. I think the fantasy banknotes look nicer; in my opinion.

  Currently I am into fantasy banknotes; especially ones with a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them (it would be neat to see some with Lady Di on them but have not found them, yet). I found these on eBay with the search words ' fantasy banknotes ' (some of them were kind of 'revealing').  This one is Tortola . I thought it was made up but it seems it does exist. Book On George Washington Carver By Tonya Bolden

          I found a book on the life of George Washington Carver  (Wikipedia link). It was not overly detailed but it does talk about his life and accomplishments. I think there are some really nice illustrations and photos in it.           I think it is great for those who want to learn about George Washington Carver but might not have a lot of time to read about him or just have a passing interest in him.           It was an easy read and it was also informative. It could lead someone to read more about him. Barbuda - Fantasy Banknotes

  I think that I might have gotten carried away; especially on fantasy banknotes that have a picture of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd on them. I have found some like this on eBay .  One of these are the Barbuda fantasy banknotes. I think they are really cool looking and look so real; like European ones that they have now. I thought it was a place that didn't exist but it seems that it does; Barbuda . I do not know if they have their own money but it would be cool if it looked like this.  I think it looks really neat.
