Tim Severin; the Explorer?
Here is a photo of Tim Severin.
I first saw a video of one of his adventures on YouTube. It was really fascinating. It led me to check out other videos and to check out his books. I think he is fascinating.
I think that reading his books and watching his videos, one is partaking in his adventures. In reading and watching, it is almost like you are there experiencing the adventure too.
I found his books as both ebooks and pbooks. I am reading a few of his books on my Kindle app on my phone (ordered via the Amazon Kindle store). I also ordered a few of his books from an online store (the online bookstore is Thriftbooks [good prices and it was shipped / packed well] - I am checking other online and offline book stores to see who has it).
I found a website that is dedicated to him; Tim Severin.
It has a section on his biography.
It has a section on his books (expeditions, Viking series, pirate series, Saxon series).
There is a section on his films.
There is a section on his images.
There is a contact section.
I have found his books (whether ebook or pbook) to be well written and illustrated. I am fascinated by his adventures. I have just begun reading his books. I am determined to read all of them. I have found the language to be good. It has held my attention and my interest. I would recommend his books to everyone.
