Zero Euro Banknotes? Souvenir?
I came across something that is truly unique. It is the Zero Euro Banknote. It resembles money but it isn't money. It is printed like money but one cannot use it as money. It does seem to be used as a souvenir. It seems it is available in places that don't use the Euro as their currency.
Zero Euro Banknotes at Banknote World. It has some information on it at this site.
NumisMag has some good information on it. It shows the history of it at this site. It also shows some nice photos / pictures of the zero Euro.
O Euro Collector Banknotes. - This site has a page - zero Euro lists - where they list all the countries that have the zero Euro bank notes and the different years. There is a gallery page that shows what they look like (just click on the country on the left). I am not sure what the map is for but it is very interesting. Here is their page with some interesting information.
