My New To Me Jeep Liberty
I traded in my old car. It had just over 109,000 miles on it. The company that made my old car no longer sells their cars in the USA anymore. The few years before they left, they sold only electric cars. It was getting expensive to repair.
The vehicle that I replaced it with is a 2005 Jeep Liberty. It had just over 136,000 miles on it. I really like it. It has 4wd but one can shift to just 2wd. It can seat 5 people (old car only seated 2). One can carry a lot more than just the 5 people. Since it is bigger, it has a bigger hitch which means it can tow a lot more. I am looking to see what I can tow with it.
It is supposed to be brown but it is not seem to be the kind of brown that I was thinking of . I like it having four doors instead of just two. It is easier to get into and out of the back seat via the back doors instead of getting into the back seats via the front seats; like on some cars with two doors and a back seat.
This is the inside. The seats are really comfortable. One can see the shift lever. Just behind it is the shift lever for switching to and from 4wd.
It is the Trail Ready edition. I am not sure what that means but it sounds cool. I believe it has a v6 engine in it. It is a lot of fun to drive.
Filling it with gas will cost more since my previous car took had only 8 gallon fuel tank and this one has a 17 gallon fuel tank; even though my previous car took premium and this one takes regular. . It will cost more since the tires are bigger than my previous car.
This one is way better in the snow. If I get stuck, I put it into 4wd and it gets out easily. It is higher off the ground which means more ground or snow clearance. The tires are bigger which means more grip on the roads or on snow.
enough bragging for now.
